We are now seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to be part of our kitchen team and contribute to the continued success of our venue.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and organise the preparation and cooking of food in accordance with our menu.
Examine food to ensure quality and monitor food storage and preparation practices for compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Prepare and present dishes with creativity and consistency, particularly focusing on seafood and salads.
Create and modify menus and recipes to suit seasonal availability and customer preferences.
Estimate food requirements, order food supplies, and manage stock levels.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques,



and presentation.
Ensure that equipment is maintained and the kitchen remains clean and compliant with health regulations.
Requirements: Proven experience working as a Chef for at least a year, preferably in seafood or casual dining.
Sound knowledge of kitchen operations, food hygiene, and safety practices.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Solid leadership and organisational skills.
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent training/experience).
Excellent communication and time management abilities.
