Technical Business Analyst Our client, a leading organisation within the Utilities sector, is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a major business and technology transformation program.
This role will play a critical part in bridging business requirements and technical delivery, supporting complex system integrations and customer platform initiatives across the energy and utilities landscape.
The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of utility operations, customer information systems, market transactions, and integration technologies, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities Engage with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document requirements.
Facilitate workshops and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
Support end-to-end solution design across customer, billing, market and integration platforms.
Work closely with architects, developers, integration teams and vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.
Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
Manage requirements traceability, impact assessments, gap analysis and process mapping.
Support testing activities including test planning, UAT coordination and defect management.
Ensure compliance with Australian energy market and regulatory requirements where applicable.
Essential Experience Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within the Utilities, Energy or Electricity Distribution/Retail sector .




Strong knowledge of utility customer, billing and market systems.
Demonstrated experience working on complex integration and digital transformation programs.
Experience gathering and documenting functional, technical and integration requirements.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across both business and technical audiences.
