The Opportunity Join a dynamic and progressive Geriatric Medicine team delivering services across acute, rehabilitation, community, and rural settings.
Services include: Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM) Unit Geriatric Rehabilitation Unit Community Older Persons Health Services Geriatric Emergency Department Intervention (GEDI) Acute Care of Older People Services Consultative Geriatric Medicine Care Awaiting Placement Services Specialist Outpatient Clinics Rural Outreach Clinics servicing Gawler, Wallaroo, and Port Pirie You will work within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team alongside physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, community providers, and aged care services to deliver patient-centred,



evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities Provide specialist geriatric assessments and consultations Manage complex medical and cognitive presentations in older adults Lead multidisciplinary care planning and discharge management Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees Participate in teaching, education, and research activities Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development initiatives Develop strong partnerships with community and aged care providers Why Join This Service?
