About the Position: The Cook role is central to the daily production of Indian sweets and savouries at Rainas Trading Pty Ltd trading as Calcutta Sweets Savouries.
The position is responsible for preparing, cooking and finishing a range of traditional Indian items to consistent quality and food safety standards, supporting the business's core production and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare,



cook and finish a range of traditional Indian sweets and savouries according to established recipes and quality standards Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures at all times Manage ingredients, portion control and minimisation of waste during production Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production and kitchen areas Assist with stock monitoring, basic inventory and preparation for daily production runs Work cooperatively with other team members to meet production schedules and customer demand Requirements : Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or Certificate IV in Kitchen Management) plus Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management Minimum 1 year full-time experience in an Indian restaurant Strong technical skills in Indian sweet and savoury preparation, attention to detail, ability to follow recipes precisely, and good interpersonal and teamwork skills How to Apply: To apply, applicants must submit their resume with a valid email address through this online portal.
