We're partnering with one of Western Australia's leading independent supermarket groups to recruit an experienced Grocery Department Manager for a busy South Perth location.

Working closely with the Store Manager and leadership team, you'll drive commercial performance while coaching and developing a motivated team to deliver exceptional results every day.
Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the Grocery department Coach, mentor and develop a high-performing team Drive department sales, profitability and key performance indicators Maintain exceptional merchandising, replenishment and presentation standards Manage inventory,



stock control, ordering and waste Ensure compliance with food safety, store standards and company procedures Deliver excellent customer service while resolving customer enquiries Build a positive, engaged and accountable team culture About You You'll be a hands-on leader who enjoys leading from the front and creating a department that customers love to shop.
You'll bring: Previous leadership experience within supermarkets, grocery or large-format retail Experience as a Grocery Department Manager, Grocery Manager, Duty Manager, Assistant Store Manager or a high-performing Grocery Team Leader Strong knowledge of grocery operations, replenishment and inventory management Proven ability to drive sales, manage labour and achieve departmental KPIs Excellent leadership and communication skills A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional shopping experiences The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment Why Join?
