General Medicine Registrar | Regional Referral Hospital | RACP Level 1 Training | VIC The Opportunity We are currently speaking with General Medicine Registrars and Basic Physician Trainees interested in training within a key regional referral hospital in north-west Victoria.
The service manages a wide range of acute medical presentations across a large cross-border catchment.
Registrars gain meaningful clinical responsibility within a consultant-led model, with strong exposure to undifferentiated and complex inpatient medicine.
This role is well suited to BPTs seeking recognised regional training with broad scope and hands-on experience.
The Hospital This is a substantial regional hospital of approximately 170 beds serving communities across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
The General Medicine service provides: • Acute inpatient General Medicine • Emergency Department integration • ICU / HDU support • Subspecialty collaboration and outreach • Consultant-led supervision The hospital participates in regional RACP training rotations, supporting Basic Physician Training within a structured and supportive environment.
