Consultant Gastroenterologist | Regional Referral Centre | High Service Demand The Opportunity We are working closely with a major regional referral hospital in Western New South Wales and are keen to connect with FRACP Gastroenterologists interested in building a sustainable and high-impact regional practice.
This service supports a large inland catchment and provides comprehensive inpatient, outpatient and endoscopic services.
There is strong demand for gastroenterology input across general medicine, hepatology and procedural endoscopy.
This role will appeal to Gastroenterologists seeking clinical breadth, consistent procedural volume and the prospect to contribute meaningfully to a growing regional service.
The Hospital This substantial regional hospital delivers a broad range of emergency, medical and surgical services to a wide catchment area and continues to undergo significant redevelopment and expansion.
The Gastroenterology service provides: • Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy • Inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology • Strong General Medicine interface • Oncology and surgical collaboration • ICU and specialty backup • Teaching hospital affiliation The service operates within a modern endoscopy environment with experienced nursing and anaesthetic support.
