Job Description Your responsibilities will include: Welcoming patients and providing a friendly, professional first point of contact Managing the appointment book, including scheduling, confirming and following up appointments Answering phones and handling patient enquiries confidently Processing payments, billing and HICAPS claims Managing day-to-day reception administration Keeping reception organised and running smoothly Communicating clearly with patients, dentists and the wider practice team Confidently managing reception when the Practice Manager is unavailable Supporting sterilisation and infection control when required following structured training Working closely with the clinical team to help maintain an efficient practice flow Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will: Have previous experience in dental reception and/or assisting Hold a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (advantageous but not essential) Be confident supporting patients and working closely with the clinical team Bring a reliable, trustworthy and team-focused approach to your work Have experience with dental practice software such as D4W (advantageous but not essential)
