This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced primary educator and aspiring or established middle leader to join a high-performing school community committed to academic excellence, student wellbeing, and innovative teaching practices.
The successful candidate will lead and coordinate programs across Years 3 and 4 , while maintaining a classroom teaching load.
The leadership component of the role is offered on a three-year fixed-term appointment , with the teaching position offered on a permanent full-time basis .
The Opportunity Join a collaborative Junior School leadership team where you will: Lead and coordinate the wellbeing, curriculum, learning, and administration across Years 3 and 4 Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing learning culture Support students through strong pastoral care and wellbeing practices Work closely with other Phase Co-ordinators and Junior School leaders to ensure consistency across year levels Build positive partnerships with students, families, and staff Support curriculum implementation aligned with the Australian Curriculum and inquiry-based learning frameworks Coordinate year-level events, activities, camps, and excursions Mentor and support teachers within the phase Maintain a classroom teaching load within the Junior School About You You are a highly skilled educator and relational leader who:



Holds relevant teaching qualifications Is QCT registered (or eligible) Has demonstrated success teaching in a primary school setting Possesses leadership experience or the capability to step into a middle leadership position Designs engaging, evidence-informed learning experiences Uses data, assessment, and feedback to drive student growth Creates inclusive and well-managed classroom environments Builds strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues Demonstrates excellent organisational and communication skills Has experience with, or a strong understanding of, inquiry-based learning and the PYP framework (highly regarded) Why This School?
