Earn a nationally recognised Certificate III in Painting and Decorating Gain hands-on experience with Australia's largest commercial painting employer Immediate start in Belmont, WA with ongoing training and support Programmed Apprenticeships Traineeships , in partnership with Programmed Property Services , are offering an exciting prospect to gain a nationally recognised qualification as a Painter (CPC***** - Certificate III in Painting and Decorating) Programmed Commercial Painting are the largest employers of painters in Australia and New Zealand .
Programmed delivers high-quality, durable paint solutions for a wide range of commercial and industrial sectors, including education, healthcare, and strata properties.
Programmed prioritizes safety in all their operations, emphasizing safe work practices and a safe work environment.
Who we're looking for: It's important you're willing to learn and develop your skills over this apprenticeship and have a good attitude and strong work ethic.
You will be willing to work as part of an experienced team, under close supervision and also at times independently.
In addition, you will; Have excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills Have great attention to detail and good problem-solving skills Have the ability to meet strict deadlines and cooperate with others Be punctual, reliable and presentable Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of relevant workplace health and safety requirements Skills and Experience To be successful, you will meet the following criteria: Completion of Secondary Schooling (minimum)



Pre-apprenticeship qualification is highly desirable Applications from 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Painting Apprentices are highly desirable.
Ability to work a 76-hour fortnight, Monday to Friday roster with the possibility of some overtime/out of hours work Possess a good building and construction understanding and aptitude Relevant work experience A current WA driver's licence and reliable transport (mandatory) Strong commitment to safety and driven work ethic The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug alcohol screening tests Genuine interest in a career within the industry Location Belmont WA Start Date Immediate Applications close on Sunday 20th September **** - please note, Programmed reserves the right to close the advertisement earlier than the specified closing date.
