As our city continues to evolve, effective risk and crisis management plays a critical role in ensuring we deliver secure, sustainable and high-performing services for our community.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Risk Specialist to support the ongoing implementation and evolution of Council's Integrated Risk Management Framework and Crisis Management Response Framework.

As the Risk Specialist, you will play a key role in embedding a proactive risk culture across the organisation.

The Opportunity In this role, you will: Support the implementation, development and review of the Integrated Risk Management Framework and Crisis Management Response Framework, including associated plans, processes and toolkits.
Provide practical advice, support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders on risk management, and crisis management matters.
Deliver key risk and crisis management activities across the organisation in line with legislative requirements and agreed timeframes.
Develop tools, resources, training and guidance to build capability and support consistent risk management practice.
Prepare accurate correspondence, documentation and reports for management, Council and the Corporate Governance Committee as required.
Build and maintain effective partnerships to ensure risk, and crisis management practices remain fit for purpose and support organisational goals.
