An opportunity is available for a HVAC project manager to join a growing national mechanical services contractor delivering a wide range of commercial HVAC projects across Sydney.
This business operates nationally across multiple states and is continuing to grow its Sydney project team office located in Macquarie Park.
They are open to both experienced Project Managers and high-potential HVAC professionals looking to step up from a site-based role.
About the Role Manage HVAC and mechanical services projects from handover through to completion Work across a diverse project mix including commercial offices, data centres, tenancy fit-outs, student accommodation, industrial, high-rise residential, retail and leisure projects Oversee projects ranging from smaller light commercial works through to large-scale mechanical packages Coordinate internal labour, subcontractors, suppliers and project delivery teams Manage project programmes, budgets, variations, procurement and delivery timelines Liaise with builders, clients, consultants and key project stakeholders Support site teams with technical queries, project coordination and delivery issues Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard Work across a mix of office and site-based responsibilities, with the role expected to be mainly office-based with regular site involvement Join a growing Sydney team with strong project demand across commercial and data centre work About You Experience within HVAC,



mechanical services or building services projects Currently working as a Project Manager, or ready to step up from a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, Leading Hand or Mechanical Engineer background Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems such as chillers, VRF/VRV, AHUs, FCUs, ductwork, hydronics and associated mechanical services Experience across commercial, data centre, fit-out, industrial or high-rise residential projects would be highly regarded Comfortable managing subcontractors, suppliers, internal labour and client expectations Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with builders, consultants and internal teams Good commercial awareness across project budgets, variations, procurement and delivery requirements Trade background, mechanical engineering background or strong site delivery experience would be suitable Proactive, organised and able to take ownership of project outcomes Looking for a long-term opportunity with a national contractor offering strong career growth What's on Offer Competitive salary package, with top-end packages available for the right person Vehicle or vehicle allowance included as part of the package Opportunity to join a national mechanical services contractor with continued Sydney growth Exposure to varied HVAC projects across commercial, data centres and large-scale mechanical services Genuine pathway for strong site-based candidates to move into project management Supportive team setting with experienced PMs and internal delivery teams Long-term career opportunity as the business continues to expand
