The Anaesthetic Department supports a diverse surgical case mix including general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, urology, and emergency procedures.
Anaesthetists are actively involved in perioperative assessment, acute pain management, obstetric anaesthesia, and critical care support.

Requirements You must meet one of the requirements: Hold FANZCA eligibility and be in the final 12 months of ANZCA training, with evidence of satisfactory progression toward Fellowship.
Be eligible for AHPRA registration at the Provisional Fellow or Limited Registration (Area of Need) level, depending on pathway.
