Job description Troocoo Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Grade 6 for a temporary agency placement within the Mental Health – Older Persons team in Mackay.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Nurse with mental health case management experience.
Previous Older Persons / Geriatric Mental Health experience is highly preferred.

The Prospect: Position: Clinical Nurse – Grade 6 Location: Mackay, QLD Team: Mental Health – Older Persons Contract: 24 August – 22 November **** Working days: Monday to Friday Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm About: The Older Persons Team provides clinical case management for adults aged 65 years and over.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing clinical assessment, case management and support to older people experiencing mental health concerns.
Essential Experience: Mental health case management experience Current Australian Driver License Older Persons / Geriatric Mental Health experience highly preferred Desirable Experience Experience or knowledge of:
CIMHA database ieMR and electronic medical record systems ACAT and My Aged Care Geriatric mental health Mental Health Act **** Previous experience working in Australia, Queensland Health and/or Mackay HHS Mandatory Competencies Candidates must hold or be able to provide evidence of: Basic Life Support (BLS) Manual and patient handling Infection control, including hand hygiene Mandatory reporting of reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect Occupational Violence Prevention Training, including de-escalation, situational awareness and maintaining personal safety Medication management, including QPHS requirements Responsibilities relating to the Aged Care Act and elder abuse Accommodation - Available upon request Travel Assistance - Available upon request Apply Now If you are an experienced Clinical Nurse with mental health case management experience, particularly within Older Persons or Geriatric Mental Health, we would love to hear from you.
