Job Description We are currently seeking a Clinical Trial Coordinator to join our team.
This position provides high-level support in the conduct of both commercially funded and investigator-led clinical trials at Griffith's Clinical Trial Unit, based at the Gold Coast campus.
The role involves all aspects of clinical trial coordination and requires experience in the preparation of ethics applications for clinical trials, pre-screening calls of potential trial participants, conduct of clinical trial visits and clinical trial project-related administrative tasks such as data entry, project summaries, and study close-out documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with participants, clinicians, commercial sponsors, service providers, and other stakeholders are essential.
Experience in conducting biospecimen preparation and lab tests, as well as clinical skills (vital signs, venepuncture) is desirable.
What we can offer This is a full time (1.0 FTE – 100%), continuing contingent position based primarily at Griffith University's Gold Coast.
This means the role is ongoing, but continued employment is dependent on the availability of external funding.
Griffith University's sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range The full-time base salary for a Senior Research Assistant, Grade 1 is in the range $96,208 - $107,420 per annum + 17% superannuation.
The total full-time package is in the range $112,563 – $125,682 per annum.
Qualifications To be considered for this position, you will have:
A Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. health sciences, biomedical science, clinical research).
Demonstrated experience coordinating clinical trials or research studies.
Sound knowledge of GCP and clinical research regulations and guidelines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You will be a proactive and organised individual who is committed to delivering high-quality care and supporting research excellence within a clinical trial setting.
