About the opportunity A newly created Production Supervisor role has opened up at a large-scale, high-volume food manufacturing facility, driven by strong business growth.

Reports to: Factory Manager Working hours: Afternoon shift, 2:00pm–12:00am Monday–Thursday About the role Everything that leaves this site to the customer passes through your hands last - output, timing and final presentation all sit with you before dispatch.
You'll manage the packing room lead and the team beneath them, working closely with the Factory Manager to keep the line moving and adjust quickly when something threatens to hold up an order.
It's a role that carries real weight day to day, since a hold-up here has an immediate, visible impact on what actually reaches the customer.
Consistency matters here as much as anything - keeping output steady shift after shift rather than firefighting one-off problems.
You'll also have a hand in developing the room lead and line leads beneath you, building capability across the team as the site continues to grow.
Key responsibilities Lead live production and output across the packing room Ensure on-time,
in-full output to meet customer dispatch deadlines Conduct safety/GMP walks and daily team huddles Support rostering and timesheet oversight alongside the Factory Manager Report on KPIs - tonnage, cost per kilo, labour headcount Identify and drive continuous incremental improvements About you You know how to keep a fast-moving team on track under pressure without losing sight of the people doing the work.
You lead from the floor, adapt quickly, and don't need everything spelled out to make a good call.
