Job Description EXPERIENCED ASPHALT PAVER OPERATOR Location: Perth Metro, WA Employment Type: Full-time Hours: 40 ordinary hours per week Pay: Award rate plus uplift An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Asphalt Paver Operator to join a current and growing road construction business based in Perth.
This is a hands-on operational role for someone with strong asphalt paving experience who can safely operate paver machinery, work closely with the Asphalt Supervisor and crew, and consistently maintain high standards of safety and workmanship.
The successful candidate must be practical, reliable and comfortable supporting a developing business.
You will play an important role in establishing safe and efficient paving operations while helping the team deliver accurate, high-quality work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Safely operate Vögele Super 800, Super **** and Super **** asphalt pavers.
• Complete daily pre-start and equipment safety checks.
• Set up and adjust the paver according to project requirements.
• Monitor paving speed, material flow, asphalt levels and consistency.
• Coordinate closely with the Supervisor, Screed Hands and ground crew.
• Maintain accurate levels and a consistent paving finish.
• Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance requirements.
• Assist with other asphalt duties when required.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work nights, weekends and away from home when required.




Requirements • Proven experience as an Asphalt Paver Operator.
• Practical experience operating Vögele Super 800, Super **** and Super **** pavers.
• Strong understanding of asphalt paving procedures.
• Current White Card.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Relevant mandatory machinery tickets, licences or VOCs.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Availability to commence around 31 August ****.
