Emergency Medicine Consultant | ACEM Accredited | 30,000+ ED Presentations The Prospect A full-time Emergency Medicine Consultant opportunity is available within a 160-bed tertiary teaching hospital in regional New South Wales.
You will join a dynamic and hands-on FACEM group with broad clinical interests including toxicology, ultrasound, simulation, advanced airway management and medical education.
The department manages over 30,000 presentations annually, providing substantial clinical variety across adult and paediatric emergency care.
This role is suited to experienced FACEMs or substantially comparable international specialists seeking regional scale, strong peer support and meaningful clinical scope.
The Hospital This 160-bed tertiary teaching hospital provides critical care, specialist medical services, surgery, mental health and outreach services to a catchment exceeding 150,000 people.
The Emergency Department: • Manages 30,000+ presentations annually • Supported by ICU and inpatient specialty services • ACEM accredited training site • Established FACEM supervision model • Strong multidisciplinary collaboration The department maintains a collegial and consultant-led culture with active involvement in education and training.
