About the Chance:
We are seeking a Proposals Team Leader to manage our CRM and proposals framework, co-ordinate proposals and fee submissions for the Energy & Resources business within Australia.
The role is responsible for proposal quality, coordination of local and offshore resources (including Pune, India), and supporting business development, marketing activities, and pipeline accuracy.
This position works closely with global business leaders, market leaders, and technical teams to deliver high-quality, compliant,



and timely proposals and project reports and ensure business pipeline data health.
Role focus:
50% proposal development and support
40% proposal report quality review and submissions
10% broader CRM pipeline and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal & Submission Leadership
Coordinate proposal and fee submissions across Australia, working with global technical leaders and specialist teams.
Ensure proposals meet quality, compliance, branding, and client requirements.
Manage proposal timelines, contributors, reviews, and approvals.
Drive continuous improvement of proposal quality, templates, and processes.
Offshore (Pune) Team Coordination
Act as the primary interface between the Australian business and the Pune proposals team.
Allocate and prioritise proposal support based on deadlines and strategic importance.
Provide clear briefs, win themes, differentiators, and client context.
Monitor workloads, milestones, and quality reviews; elevate as required.
Support maintenance of centralised proposal trackers and reporting.
Quality & Knowledge Management
Maintain consistency with Stantec brand, style guides, and QA requirements.
Minimise errors through structured reviews and quality control.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and best‐practice collaboration across offices.
Stakeholder & Business Support
Build strong working relationships with team leaders, managers, and business leaders.
Support local marketing activities,



pipeline accuracy, and project write‐ups.
Assist with tender portal monitoring and annual subscription renewals.
Contribute to team culture, engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience in an engineering consultancy, construction, or design environment.
Strong proposal writing, coordination, and leadership capability.
High attention to detail with a strong quality and compliance mindset.
Ability to manage competing priorities and add value to business outcomes.
Advanced AI, MS Word and PowerPoint skills.
Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach.
Flexibility to adjust work hours within reason according to global time zones.
