We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven
Key Account Manager, Clinical Genomics
to join our team in Sydney and play a pivotal role in expanding our clinical and translational genomics business.

About the Role
The
Key Account Manager, Clinical Genomics
will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth across AGRF's clinical genomics and translational genomics portfolio.
As the primary commercial representative for AGRF within the territory, you will engage with hospitals, pathology providers, healthcare organisations, biotechnology companies, clinical researchers and Key Opinion Leaders to position AGRF as a trusted long-term partner.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that combines sales, business development, account management and strategic partnership development.
Your Key Responsibilities
Drive Business Growth




Develop and implement business development strategies to grow AGRF's clinical and translational genomics services
Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
Achieve revenue growth and sales targets
Identify emerging market opportunities and customer needs
Manage Strategic Accounts
Develop trusted relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Grow and retain existing accounts through proactive engagement
Establish AGRF as a valued strategic partner
Ensure exceptional customer experiences across the entire client journey
Build Industry Relationships
Develop relationships with clinical leaders, Key Opinion Leaders and industry stakeholders
Expand AGRF's network within public and private healthcare sectors
Represent AGRF at conferences, workshops, seminars and industry events
Support Client Success
Coordinate key client projects and opportunities from proposal through to delivery
Collaborate with AGRF's scientific and operational teams to deliver successful outcomes
Prepare quotations, proposals and client presentations
Provide ongoing support to clients and partners
This role involves regular client engagement and some travel (approximately 20%), together with office-based activities including account planning, proposal development, quoting and CRM management.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential
Strong understanding of the clinical genomics, genetic testing or precision medicine market
Degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, business development, account management or a related commercial role
Demonstrated success in achieving sales and revenue targets
Strong networks within hospitals, healthcare organisations, pathology providers, clinical research or translational medicine sectors
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels




Highly motivated with strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills
Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills
Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail
Willingness to travel (approximately 20%)
Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required
Desirable
Experience selling genomics, molecular diagnostics, life sciences or healthcare services
Experience using CRM platforms
PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics or a related discipline
