Consultant Gastroenterologist | 650+ Bed Regional Referral Centre | Established Endoscopy Service The Opportunity We are working closely with one of Australia's largest regional health services and are keen to connect with FRACP Gastroenterologists interested in practising within a high-demand regional referral centre in Victoria.
This service supports a large and diverse catchment and provides comprehensive gastroenterology care across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings.
The role offers exposure to general gastroenterology, hepatology and therapeutic endoscopy within a substantial hospital environment.
This position will appeal to Gastroenterologists seeking procedural stability, strong referral volume and long-term professional security outside a metropolitan centre.
The Hospital This major regional health service includes more than 650 beds and provides secondary and tertiary-level care across a vast geographic footprint.
The Gastroenterology service provides: • Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy • ERCP capability • Inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology • Strong oncology and colorectal surgery interface • ICU and medical specialty support • Teaching hospital setting The endoscopy service operates within a well-established procedural unit supported by experienced nursing and anaesthetic teams.
