The Opportunity
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a key role in keeping a busy FMCG production facility running efficiently.
Working alongside an experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for both
planned and reactive maintenance
across a range of production and processing equipment.

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment
Mechanical fault finding and breakdown response
Repairs, servicing and continuous improvement of plant and machinery
Working across conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics and automated production equipment
Supporting planned maintenance programs
Minimising production downtime
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Working closely with production and other members of the maintenance team
About You
We are looking for a
qualified Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
who ideally has:
Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Fitting
Previous experience in
Manufacturing
Robust mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Strong safety focus
Good communication and problem-solving skills
A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a leading manufacturing business
