Geriatrician full-time chance to join a dynamic and high-performing Geriatric team that delivers excellent care to aged and frail patients across acute, sub-acute, perioperative, and community-based programs.
The Hospital This is the largest hospital in the Health Service, with 331 beds, and offers specialist services.
It provides training for medical students enrolled in the University of Queensland – Central Queensland Rural Clinical School, and has links with the Central Queensland University for Nursing and Health Studies.
The hospital places a strong emphasis on growing its own medical workforce, with an active Medical Education Unit and registrar training being a major focus within the health service.




It is also accredited for RACP Basic Physician Training and is a host site for the RACP Divisional Clinical Examination.
The Requirements Specialist registration FRACP.
Candidates who are to attain the fellowship within the next 6 months, and International Medical Graduates deemed substantially Comparable with RACP are welcome to apply.
