Join our dynamic central region CT Team as a Full-Time CT Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and undertaking cannulations.
You'll be required to work at our Edwardstown clinic.
Some travel maybe required to our Christies Beach, Morphett Vale and Glenelg clinics.
About the role
As a CT Assistant, you will report to the CT Team Leader and collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care and productive operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Duties Include, but not limited to:
Performing cannulations and providing patient care while adhering to Benson Radiology's Policies, Procedures, and Protocols
Analysingrequest forms and assist staff to ensure the appropriate examination is performed to obtain optimal information
Consulting with colleagues and Radiologists as needed
Supporting CT Radiographers, nursing, and clinical staff by preparing patients for imaging examinations, including manual handling and positioning
Assessing bookings and workflows proactively to maximise efficiency, while remaining flexible to accommodate urgent cases and walk-in patients
Contributing to a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding, patient-centred care
About You
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a welcoming, multi-disciplinary team.
You will possess:
Proven ability in cannulation or relevant experience in venepuncture




Experience managing scheduled appointments and ensuring seamless workflow
Strong verbal communication skills
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Familiarity with radiology imaging systems (e.g., COMRAD, PACS) is a plus, but not essential
Valid CPR certification or a willingness to obtain it
Ability to interact professionally with patients, team members and other stakeholders
You must be Flexible, resilient, and adaptive to change
You will require a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Additionally, you must have, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check and National Police clearance.
