At Leverett Kindler Optometrists, we've successfully trained our current dispensers internally, and we're open to doing the same again for the right person.
While optical experience would certainly be welcomed, we're equally interested in someone who brings confidence, adaptability, and robust people skills.
We're now looking for a part-time Optical Assistant / Dispenser, with Friday and Saturday availability essential.
The Role Working in a busy independent practice, you'll support patients throughout their experience.
From welcoming them into the practice and assisting with eyewear selection through to dispensing, adjustments, repairs, and administration.
You'll work with people across different age groups, personalities, and needs, so being able to communicate confidently and adapt your approach will be important.
Your day may include: Helping patients choose eyewear that suits their needs, style and lifestyle Learning or applying optical dispensing skills Spectacle adjustments, repairs, and fittings Reception, appointments, and general administration Supporting optometrists and other team members throughout the day Providing calm, professional assistance when conversations or situations require a little more care Who Will Suit This Role?




Optical experience isn't essential.
Leverett Kindler has the experience and capacity to provide comprehensive on-the-job training, so we're happy to consider someone from a strong retail, administration or customer service background who is genuinely interested in learning optics.
