Choice Loans is currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Finance Broker to join its team.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $100,000 per annum Location: Mulgrave, VIC **** Role: Full time Main responsibilities include but not limited to: ·Assess clients' financial circumstances, borrowing requirements and objectives to determine suitable finance solutions.
·Research, compare and evaluate loan products, interest rates, lending policies and eligibility criteria across a range of banks and financial institutions.
·Recommend appropriate home, commercial, business, construction and asset finance options based on clients' individual financial needs.
·Analyse clients' income, liabilities, credit history, assets and supporting financial documentation to assess borrowing capacity and loan suitability.
·Prepare, compile and submit loan applications and supporting documentation to lenders in accordance with relevant lending requirements.
·Liaise and negotiate with banks, lenders and other financial institutions regarding loan structures, interest rates, conditions and approval requirements.
·Explain loan products, repayment structures, fees, lending conditions and financial commitments to clients in a clear and professional manner.
·Manage loan applications from initial enquiry through assessment, approval,



settlement and post-settlement follow-up, maintaining regular communication with clients and lenders.
·Maintain accurate client records and ensure finance applications comply with applicable responsible lending, regulatory, privacy and internal compliance requirements.
·Develop and maintain qualified relationships with clients, lenders, referral partners and other stakeholders while identifying opportunities for refinancing and additional finance solutions.
Qualifications and Experience required: ·Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, or equivalent.
At least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
·Minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar finance broking or mortgage lending environment.
·Experience in dealing with Australian clients and Australian lenders Skills and Attributes: Analytical and effective time management skills Negotiation and strong communication skills Understanding of Australian financial structures.
Ability to prioritise client applications and tasks efficiently Attention to accuracy, compliance and delivering suitable finance solutions to clients Sound knowledge of Australian lending obligations, credit policies and regulatory requirements Knowledge of commercial, residential, business, SMSF loans will be preferred.
