About the opportunity
Werribee Mercy Hospital is a Public Hospitallocatedin the rapidly growing western suburbs of Melbourne. We currently have a career opportunity for a qualified and experienced Patient Services Assistant to join the Food & Environmental Department management team.
Based at Werribee Mercy Hospital
Full-timeposition, 38 hours a week with the ability to cover dayshift and afternoon shifts.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
A Certificate 3 Health Services, or equivalent, or working towards.
The ability to nurture friendly,



respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team workplace.
Proven ability to supervise and train staff to achieveappropriate standards.
Excellent customer service skill and attention to detail.
Commitment to staff development.
A commitment to policies & proceduresin order tomaintaina safe and healthy environment for patients,staffand members of the public.
Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
Experience within aHospital,Hotelor cleaning sector(desirable).
Proven ability to supervise and train staff.
You will alsobe requiredto provide evidence of, orin the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
