Chempro Chemists has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a full time Pharmacist to work within our ever expanding, dedicated Aged Care team.
This position offers the chance to work in a rapidly expanding industry with the use of the latest technologies in pharmacy services.Located in Bundall, but servicing Nursing Homes across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and Northern NSW, the ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day service of multiple nursing homes, with the help of our experienced team.This would be an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to expand their skills and embark on new challenge.
Having a positive disposition, strong communication skills, and an enthusiasm for providing outstanding service levels as well as sound medication knowledge will see the ideal candidate succeed in this role.
On the job training in medication management programs and aged care service requirements will be provided.The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:Accurate, timely and efficient dispensing of prescriptionsAbility to maintain patient profiles in all programsLiaising with doctors, nurses,



and other allied health professionals as requiredPerform under pressure to meet deadlinesAccurate and efficient checking of medication sachets prior to deliveryStrong administration and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast paced and harmonious team environmentAbility to provide exceptional customer serviceRequirements:Bachelor of Pharmacy or Equivalent with a current AHPRA registrationExperience with FRED is preferable but not essentialAged Care experience is preferable but not essentialExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work autonomously and in a team environmentSelf-motivated with desire to achieve a vibrant workplace and deliver exemplary service and solutions to our clientele.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have a strong medication knowledge, display initiative, great communication skills and a sound decision making ability.
