We're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Soho Built team in Port Melbourne.Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, variety, and long-term growth.What You Will Be DoingPreparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs and pricing schedulesReviewing architectural/engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentsCompleting quantity take-offs and analysing labour, material, equipment and subcontractor costsSourcing, evaluating and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotesIdentifying scope gaps, risks and constructability issuesRecommending value-engineering options to improve cost efficiencyEnsuring all estimates comply with relevant codes,



standards and project requirementsReviewing contractual conditions and tender documentationLiaising with senior management on BOQ progress and workflowParticipating in project handover meetingsMaintaining organised records, workflows and job status reportingWhat You'll BringExperienced in residential estimatingHighly accurate with strong analytical and numerical skillsConfident interpreting technical drawings and specificationsAn effective communicator with strong negotiation abilityOrganised, deadline-driven and commercially awareProficient in MS Office and estimating softwareWhy Join Soho Built?
