You will work closely with client representatives, site supervisors, tradespeople and DME's wider engineering and support team to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Our project managers, supervisors and tradespeople work closely with clients to deliver work safely and efficiently, minimise downtime and support reliable plant operation.At DME Engineering Services, we are committed to long-term partnerships built on trust, quality workmanship and responsive support.For more information, visit our website: OpportunityAs Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of industrial maintenance and mechanical projects.Your responsibilities will include:Managing projects from initial scope and planning through to completion and handoverDeveloping project schedules, budgets, labour plans and material requirementsCoordinating supervisors, tradespeople, subcontractors and suppliersLiaising with client representatives, operations personnel and relevant stakeholdersMonitoring project costs, progress, quality and delivery timeframesManaging changes in scope, variations and emerging project issuesEnsuring project work complies with safety, quality and client requirementsMaintaining accurate project records, progress reports and close-out documentationAbout YouTo be successful in this position, you will have:A recognised mechanical trade, engineering,



construction management or relevant project management qualificationPrevious experience managing industrial maintenance, shutdown or mechanical projectsStrong planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource coordination skillsExperience managing project scope, costs, variations and delivery timeframesThe ability to coordinate multiple work fronts and respond effectively to changing prioritiesStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skillsA professional and practical approach when dealing with clients and site personnelA sound understanding of industrial safety systems, permits, isolations and risk managementA robust commitment to safety, quality and successful project deliveryExperience within the pulp and paper industry or a similar heavy industrial environment will be highly regarded.This position may also suit an experienced Site Supervisor or Project Coordinator who is ready to take the next step into a formal Project Manager role.Salary and BenefitsThis position offers:$150,000 base salary + SuperannuationOvertime and shutdown opportunitiesCompany vehicleLocally based work in the Tumut regionHome every night$**** sign-on bonus — *$2,000 upfront and the balance following successful completion of probationPaid 30-minute lunch break each dayRelocation assistance negotiable for the right candidatePhone allowanceJoin an established industrial maintenance company offering secure local employment, challenging project work and the opportunity to take ownership of project delivery for major industrial clients.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
