Team Leader for a high behavioural support home is needed in the Tweed Heads areaSoteria is seeking an experienced NDIS Team Leader - SIL to join our dynamic team in the Tweed Heads area.
As a full-time team leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the provision of high-quality disability support services to our clients.
Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our NDIS operations run seamlessly and our clients receive the care and assistance they need.What you'll be doingProviding effective leadership, supervision, and support to a team of support workers delivering NDIS-funded Supported Independent Living (SIL) servicesDeveloping, implementing, and monitoring support plans to meet the individual needs of NDIS participantsEnsuring all NDIS documentation and reporting requirements are completed accurately and on timeFostering a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting professional development, and providing mentoring support to workersLiaising with NDIS participants, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service deliveryMonitoring and evaluating the quality and effectiveness of SIL services, identifying areas for improvementAssisting with the recruitment, onboarding,



and training of new support workersWhat we're looking forMinimum 4 years' experience in a similar NDIS team leader or supervisory role within the disability support sectorYou will need to be experienced in managing clients with complex behavioursStrong understanding of the NDIS framework, eligibility criteria, and funding modelsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of support workersProficient in creating and implementing person-centred support plansProblem-solving skills and the ability to make sound, ethical decisionsRelevant tertiary qualifications in disability, community services, or a related fieldCurrent First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid driver's licenceWhat we offerAt Soteria, we are committed to creating a rewarding and supportive work setting for our employees.
