We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of AI-powered tooling within the Information Security team at Airwallex.
The role involves designing, building, and operating an internal AI platform that enhances security operations through automation, integrations, and scalable infrastructure.Responsibilitiesdeveloping AI applicationssupporting incident response with custom toolsmaintaining cloud-based systems such as Kubernetes, serverless workloads, and ETL pipelinescollaborating with engineering teams to improve security outcomesThe ideal candidate has 8+ years of software engineering experience, proficiency in both scripting and systems programming languages, and experience with modern cloud infrastructure.
Robust communication skills, autonomy, and a problem-solving mindset are essential.
This position is based in Melbourne or Sydney.
