About the RoleTasman Power are seeking experienced Electricians to join our team delivering electrical infrastructure projects at a world-class Tier 1 underground mining operation in the Northern Territory.
Located in the remote Tanami Desert, approximately 270km from the nearest neighbouring communities, this mine site is one of Australia's largest underground gold mines.
As a FIFO operation, this mining site offers the chance to work on significant electrical projects while enjoying structured roster arrangements and excellent site facilities.
Roster options are currently being finalised and are expected to be either:
8 Days On/6 Days Off
FIFO Arrangements:
Brisbane and Darwin – Direct flights to Tanami
New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia – Travel via Brisbane before connecting to site
The Opportunity




Working as part of the Tasman Power team, you will be involved in a variety of electrical infrastructure and project work, including:
Non-Processing Infrastructure (NPI) electrical projects
Substation installation (upgrades and maintenance)
Site electrical infrastructure works
Project work at one of Australia's premier gold mining operations

To be successful in this role you will require:
Mining, industrial or heavy industrial experience
Distribution and substation project experience
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A demonstrated commitment to safety and company values
NT Electrical Licence
Working at Heights certification
Current First Aid (including LVR/CPR within the last 12 months)
High Risk Work Licence (EWP over 11m)
Valid C Class or HR Driver's Licence
Highly desired but not essential:
Air Conditioning (HVAC) experience
CCTV installation and maintenance experience
Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
