In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running.Key Job ResponsibilitiesParticipate in a 24/7 rotating shift patternUndertake and support management of both routine maintenance and emergency service of critical systems such as switch-gear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, fire systemsInstallation of new rack capacity and provisioning of power/coolingOn-site management of contractors and vendors, ensuring all work is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislationEstablish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenanceGenerate change management requests & incident management tickets for all facility-related eventsCollaborate with data center IT managers and other business leaders to coordinate day-to-day operations, projects, manage capacity, and optimise plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiencyDrive & implement projects to increase current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability & reliabilityAssist in the design implementation, commissioning and build-out of current data center facilitiesMentoring and development of less experienced Engineering Operations TechniciansLead root cause analysis for operational issuesRoles available across locations in Sydney, NSW.Additional RequirementsThis role involves bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safelyMust be able to work at heights and from laddersOn-call rotation to provide 24x7 supportDue to the location of our sites,
