About The Role
An opportunity is available for a mid-level Change Manager to support a major technology implementation within a complex public healthcare environment.
The role will focus on the implementation and rollout of a Time and Attendance system, helping employees and business areas transition successfully to new technology, processes and ways of working.
With strategic change artefacts already established, this position is primarily focused on hands‐on change delivery.
You will work closely with project teams, business representatives and key stakeholders to understand impacts, assess readiness, manage resistance and drive adoption.
The broader project is expected to continue over approximately 12 months, providing the successful contractor with exposure to a substantial workforce and technology transformation.
Position: Change Manager - $110-$130/hour + super
Location: Gungahlin, ACT
Working Arrangement: Hybrid arrangements

Key Responsibilities
Deliver change management activities supporting the implementation and rollout of a Time and Attendance system
Translate established change strategies into practical implementation and adoption activities
Conduct change impact assessments across people, processes, systems and business areas
Assess organisational and stakeholder readiness ahead of key implementation milestones
Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational impacts and change requirements
Build trusted relationships with project teams, business leaders, subject matter experts and affected employees
Identify gaps in business processes and support stakeholders to develop or update standard operating procedures
Develop stakeholder engagement, communication and enablement activities
Prepare change communications, presentations, briefing materials, FAQs and supporting collateral
Facilitate workshops, impact assessments, stakeholder discussions and readiness sessions
Support training needs analysis and coordinate change activities with learning and enablement initiatives
Identify stakeholder resistance and develop practical strategies to improve engagement and adoption
Monitor change risks, issues, dependencies and emerging stakeholder concerns
Align change activities with project timelines, technology releases and implementation milestones
Support benefits realisation by linking adoption and behavioural change to intended program outcomes
Track adoption, readiness and stakeholder sentiment and provide recommendations to project leadership
Collaborate with technology, project, business analysis, communications and operational teams
Contribute to post-implementation reviews, lessons learned and continuous improvement activities
About You
Demonstrated experience delivering organisational change within complex environments
Experience supporting technology, digital transformation or enterprise system implementations
Solid understanding of the relationship between technology, business processes and organisational change
Practical experience conducting change impact and readiness assessments
Working knowledge of recognised change management methodologies such as PROSCI or ADKAR
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
Confidence engaging with stakeholders experiencing uncertainty or resistance to change
Ability to facilitate workshops and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
Experience developing change communications, engagement plans and implementation collateral
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to operate effectively within complex organisational structures and ambiguous environments
Understanding of benefits realisation and measuring successful adoption
Familiarity with Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and benefits management will be advantageous
Previous consulting experience is highly regarded, particularly across multiple technology or transformation projects
Healthcare or hospital sector experience is advantageous but not essential
Time and Attendance, workforce management, payroll or HR technology implementation experience will be highly regarded
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Organisational Psychology, Change Management or a related discipline are desirable
PROSCI certification or another recognised organisational change management qualification is highly regarded
Ability to obtain and maintain required government compliance and Police Check requirements
Valid Australian working rights are mandatory
