About The RoleWe're looking for a Compliance Officer to support the delivery of effective compliance across our Energy Management & B2B (EM&B2B;) activities in ANZ.
In this role, you'll help build and maintain a practical and fit-for-purpose compliance framework, while contributing to a positive culture of integrity and accountability.
Working alongside Legal, Regulatory and Commercial teams, you'll play an important role in ensuring regulatory obligations are understood, managed and embedded into day-to-day operations.Key responsibilities include:Acting as a key contact for compliance, regulatory and ethical matters across EM&B2B; ANZSupporting the implementation and ongoing improvement of compliance frameworks and processesMonitoring and helping manage regulatory obligations across energy and financial marketsContributing to compliance risk reviews and supporting actions to address identified risksPartnering with stakeholders to provide guidance on new products, trading activities and commercial initiativesAssisting with compliance training, reporting and engagement with regulators and industry groupsAbout YouExperience in compliance, regulatory, legal, risk or a related areaAn interest in or knowledge of energy markets, trading or financial servicesUnderstanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. AFSL, AML/CTF, AER, AEMO) is helpfulAbility to interpret information and apply it in a practical,



business-focused wayStrong communication skills and a cooperative working styleComfortable working with a range of stakeholders across different functionsA relevant qualification in Law, Commerce, Risk, Compliance or similar (or equivalent experience)At ENGIE, every talent has a role to play in accelerating the energy transition.
