Please be advised, this role is referred to as the Technical Officer - Electrical within Council.About The PositionThe Technical Officer - Electrical will provide electrical maintenance and minor capital works for Council including technical support for the management and maintenance of Muswellbrook Water and Wastewater's Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, treatment works Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), pumping stations, and reservoir instrumentation and telemetry systems.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain, repair, and replace electrical and instrumentation systems to resolve process faultsSupervise and support apprentice electricians when requiredProvide technical advice to the Operations Manager, team members, and contractorsInterpret and update electrical engineering and P&ID; drawingsSupport asset management systems by supplying accurate data from completed worksEnsure compliance with WHS, standards, and regulations while contributing to planning and budgetsAbout YouLicensed Electrician – Electrical supervisors certificate and ability to maintain licence.Relevant post-trade training.Relevant post –trade qualifications, e.g. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent,Class C Driver's LicenceWhat We OfferPermanent full time employment, 38 hours per weekSalary from $103,635 to $108,569 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience)
