About the position:The Planning Officer role focuses on coordinating and preparing work packages for regional maintenance to ensure the master work plan is delivered efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Occupational Health & Safety: Upholding high safety standards, complying with policies, and leading by example.Leadership: Demonstrating accountability, driving standardisation, and promoting continuous improvement.Team Membership: Collaborating with various teams (Planning & Scheduling, Asset Management, Engineering) and actively seeking opportunities to improve personal skills.Planning & Scheduling: Designing and managing maintenance work packages, schedules, and CMMS data.Technical Process: Maintaining Ellipse system records, supporting management, and ensuring contractor compliance.About the location:This role is full time, 100% on site, based within the Upper Tumut region, working on a DIDO arrangement (4 day week).
About you:Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualified (Certificate III or IV), with post-trade experience, ideally in heavy industryDemonstrated ability to understand technical specifications and conduct inspections to deliver intended work outcomes.Experience in maintenance and reliability improvement in Power GenerationKnowledge of OH&S;, Environmental Policies and Standards and Maintenance Systems (Ellipse)
