I-MED is pleased to be offering an exciting new full‐time, permanent opportunity (part time will be considered) for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
We are looking for additional staff members due to our ongoing growth and current graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Reporting to the Area Nuclear Coordinator, you will be based in the Southern Melbourne Region predominately at our soon to be completed start of the art NM / PET department in Frankston.
This role is Monday to Friday, working 7.6‐hour shifts between 7am to 5pm, with no on call requirements.
You will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine and PET including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.
As a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in busy private practice and hospital settings.

Key Accountabilities Include
Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radio‐pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
Applicants must be AHPRA Registered
Diagnostic CT accreditation would be an advantage but not required.
