Join a newly refurbished Jewish Care psychology centre funded by PHN.We are seeking psychologists with a depth of experience in complex client presentations that may include addiction, trauma, family and domestic violence and risk management.The positions will be for 2 days or 4 days a week - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.The established team is led by a Clinical Lead and unlike private practice, the organisation manages all running costs, referrals and bookings and offers both internal and external clinical supervision.We are seeking psychologists who may currently work in private practice and have 2 to 4 days per week available to join our team and provide psychological support for the Jewish community.The Psychologist provides trauma-informed clinical intervention for individuals impacted by the Bondi incident and other mental health challenges utilising a variety of trauma informed modalities.Jewish Care offers not-for-profit salary packaging and staff perks including both Jewish and public holiday leave.About the RoleAs a Psychologist, you will:Have in-depth knowledge and experience in at least one of the areas of addiction, trauma, family and domestic violence and risk managementDevelop individualised treatment plans aligned with best-practice modelsDeliver evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, DBT,



EMDR and other trauma-informed approachesProvide short-to medium-term therapeutic interventionsConduct risk and suicide/self-harm assessmentsDevelop safety plans and crisis support strategiesMaintain accurate and compliant clinical documentationWork collaboratively with community stakeholders and referral servicesSupport clients experiencing trauma reactions, grief, distress, and disruptionAbout YouTo be successful in this role you will have:Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRAStrong clinical assessment, formulation and therapeutic skillsDemonstrated experience providing trauma-informed psychological support with adultsExperience working with individuals with complex psychosocial needsAbility to provide compassionate, accessible clinical guidanceUnderstanding of community mental health systems and referral pathwaysStrong communication and engagement skillsMandatory RequirementsAHPRA registration as a PsychologistWorking With Children CheckNDIS Worker Check completed or can be actionedUnderstanding of Jewish values, heritage and cultureWhy Join JewishCare?
