The Bigger PictureAt Andromeda, we're building the social intelligence layer for humanoid robots - technology that allows robots to understand people, build relationships and become a meaningful part of everyday life. The Bigger PictureAt Andromeda, we're building the social intelligence layer for humanoid robots - technology that allows robots to understand people, build relationships and become a meaningful part of everyday life. Our first robot, Abi, is already doing this in aged care and healthcare, where she brings conversation, companionship and engagement to people every day.Now we're scaling from early deployments into a platform that can operate across thousands of real-world environments.
We're looking for individuals who want to tackle hard problems across robotics and AI, and help define what it means for robots to live and interact alongside people. Our ValuesEmpathy - Kindness and compassion are at the heart of everything we doPlay - Play sharpens focus.
It keeps us curious, fast and obsessed with the craftNever Settle - A relentless ambition, bias toward action, and uncomfortable levels of curiosityTenacity - Tenacious under pressure, we assume chaos and stay in motion to adapt and progressUnity - Different minds.
Shared mission.
No passengersThe RoleAs our Network & IT Systems Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of Andromeda's internal technology and on-prem infrastructure - owning the systems, automation and day-to-day support that keep our people productive and our infrastructure reliable.
We don't have an external MSP or a separate helpdesk team.
You will own issues end-to-end: from helping someone whose laptop won't connect to Wi-Fi, through to diagnosing a Linux server, recovering an on-prem service or fixing the underlying system so the problem doesn't happen again.
This is a hands-on role.
You'll provision laptops, manage accounts, respond to support requests and troubleshoot everyday issues.
But your job is not simply to work through tickets.
You will also design better systems, automate repetitive work, improve observability and build the foundations that allow Andromeda to scale without its IT workload scaling at the same rate.
You will own employee devices, identity, office networking, SaaS administration, on-prem infrastructure and the automation layer that ties them together. What You'll OwnEnd-User SupportOwn IT support across the company, from initial request through to resolutionEngineer seamless, self-service experiences for the company.
