This is an outstanding opportunity to influence project outcomes while leading a high-performing engineering team.The company is recognised for its collaborative culture, strong leadership, excellent staff retention and genuine commitment to career development.The RoleAs the Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical engineering design team and ensuring the successful delivery of HVAC projects from concept through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of Mechanical Engineers, Draftspersons and Design Support staffOversee the design and engineering delivery of commercial HVAC projects across multiple sectorsReview, approve and sign off mechanical design documentationCollaborate with Construction Managers, Estimators, Project Managers and Directors to ensure seamless project deliveryManage engineering resources, project priorities and design programmesPrepare technical reports, engineering documentation and management reportsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standardsManage design variations, value engineering initiatives and technical problem solvingBuild and maintain solid relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractorsDrive continuous improvement across engineering processes and design standardsSelection CriteriaTo be considered for this opportunity,
