Terra Verde is a joint venture between Webuild, GS Engineering & Construction (E&C;) Australia, and Bouygues Construction Australia.The joint venture combines experienced local personnel with global resources and expertise.Terra Verde is delivering nearly 10 kilometres of parallel tunnels between Glen Waverley and Box Hill, including 39 cross passages and two station boxes at Glen Waverley and Burwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, as part of the Suburban Rail Loop Project.This is the largest infrastructure project in Victoria's history, shaping Melbourne and Victoria for future generations.About the Role:As a Quality Engineer you are responsible for ensuring construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and documented procedures.
The role utilises a range of quality assurance tools and processes to identify, document, and manage any non-conformances or workmanship issues, ensuring they are effectively controlled and rectified.Key Responsibilities:Conduct on-site and subcontractor inspections to ensure compliance with ITPs and drawingsMaintain accurate quality documentation, including work lots and recordsPrepare and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) through to close-outVerify implementation of corrective and preventative actionsManage defects and drive timely resolutionSupport surveillance and inspections of subcontracted works alongside the Quality CoordinatorCollaborate with site supervisors to identify and resolve quality issuesParticipate in Quality and Construction meetingsEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures,



and quality standardsDeliver work efficiently within required timeframesWhat We're Looking For:Experience with site inspections, ITPs, and construction drawingsKnowledge of NCRs, defect management, and corrective actionsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholdersAbility to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesCollaborative, team-focused approachQualifications and Experience:Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry in a similar roleExperience on large-scale construction projectsUnderstanding of ISO AS/NZS **** and quality standardsKnowledge of construction materials and specificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems (e.g. EDMS)Skills and Attributes:High attention to detail and quality focusProactive problem-solving mindsetStrong sense of accountability and reliabilityCommitment to compliance and continuous improvementWhy Join Us?
