This is a full-time position offering 4 block shifts (10am–6pm) + 1 split shift - morning and afternoons Monday to Friday.
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and quality assurance of our service, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of care whilst meeting regulatory requirements.
This role is pivotal to our success and will have a direct impact on the experiences of the children and of the families who trust us with their care.Key responsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the before and after school care service, ensuring a protected, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards, including the National Quality Standard (NQS)



and duty of care requirementsMaintain accurate records, documentation and reporting systems to meet regulatory and operational requirementsEnsure policies and procedures that promote child safety, wellbeing and development are followed.Build and maintain strong relationships with families, schools, community partners and stakeholdersManage staff rostering and programming.Respond to parent enquiries and resolve concerns in a timely and skilled mannerWhat we're looking forCurrent certification in First Aid and CPR, with a commitment to maintaining these qualificationsProven experience managing before and after school care services, with demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality StandardStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team membersSound understanding of child safety, protection and wellbeing frameworks, including mandatory reporting obligationsWorking With Children Check (WWCC) clearance.Experience with quality improvement frameworks and regulatory compliance is highly desirableWhat we offerCompetitive salary and remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualificationsOpportunities for professional development, training and career progression within the childcare sectorA supportive and collaborative workplace culture that values innovation, teamwork and continuous learningAccess to employee assistant program.Exposure to best practice childcare management and the chance to lead a quality service.
