About the roleHopgoodGanim is recruiting a Business Development Advisor into our BD and Marketing team, based in our Perth office.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development and Marketing and working closely with the wider Brisbane-based team, you'll advise partners and practitioners across BD planning, client relationship management and client engagement, and play a central role in delivering high-quality bids and proposals across multiple practice groups.
You'll also be the hands-on BD and Marketing support for our Perth partners.
Permanent and full-time, though part-time (0.8 to 0.9 FTE) will be considered for the right person.
Your key responsibilities will include:Collaborate with Partners and practitioners to identify key target clients, market trends, and opportunities within the sector/sDevelop and execute targeted business development campaigns and initiativesWork proactively with Partners and practitioners to develop and execute key client and referrer management plans for key clients and referrers in the sectorDevelop and execute strategies to enhance the firm's profile and thought leadership within the allocated sector/sIdentify and pursue opportunities for speaking engagements, publications, and industry eventsWork closely with the marketing and communications team to ensure alignment of business development and marketing activitiesResearch clients, competitors and industry trendsMaintain bid templates, case studies and precedent materialsBuild pitch and presentation materials for client bids

In addition, ideally you will have:A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or a related fieldExperience supporting bids, proposal writing, marketing communications, or a related role within professional services environment (ideally legal or accounting)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and exceptional editing and proofreading abilities.The ability to synthesise complex information and present it clearly and conciselyStrong research and analytical skillsThe ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally design software (Indesign and Canva)
