The role
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our Perth service team based at Bibra Lake.
This is a Monday to Friday workshop-based role with occasional site work supporting hydraulic and mechanical fixed plant equipment.
You will be a key member of the service team carrying out overhaul, repair and testing work.
We are looking for a mechanically minded technician who can work autonomously, takes pride in quality workmanship and maintains a strong commitment to safety.
Mechanical tradespeople with some hydraulic experience are encouraged to apply, with opportunities to further develop specialist hydraulic skills on the job.

Key Responsibilities
Dismantle, assess, repair, reseal and test hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves and manifolds
Overhaul hydraulic and mechanical components in the workshop
Perform hydraulic tube bending and small fabrication work
Test and commission hydraulic equipment and systems
Complete service reports and maintain accurate job records
Liaise with clients regarding job scope and findings
Support fault finding and hydraulic system troubleshooting
Assist with breakdown and maintenance work as required
Travel to client sites occasionally for field service work
Qualifications and Experience
Mechanical Trade Certificate
Experience working on hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves and HPUs
Strong hydraulic fault finding and troubleshooting capability
Experience with hydraulic system maintenance and rebuild work
Ability to read drawings and follow technical procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a service team
Positive written and verbal communication skills for service reporting
Current driver's licence
