About the role
We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist / Assistant to join our small team in Manuka, ACT.
This position plays a vital role in our practice, balancing both reception and administrative duties while also including chair-side assistance to our providers.
What you'll be doing
Reception Duties: Greeting and welcoming our patients, checking them in for their appointments and scheduling further appointments, answering phone calls and emails.
Admin Support: Processing private health fund claims (HICAPS) and EFTPOS payments, handling private & confidential patient dental history records.
Clinical Support: Assisting providers chair-side by anticipating the next steps while treating patients, ensuring treatment rooms are clean, stocked and organised.
Providing excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns.
Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
What we're looking for
At least 1-2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with patients and team members.
Excellent organisational skills and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.




Proficiency in using dental software and basic computer systems.
- Training will be provided if required
