About the Role
Aramex Toowoomba is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Casual Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our busy depot.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
You will work closely with drivers, customers, and depot staff to ensure freight is processed efficiently and operational targets are met.
Work timings between 10 am - 6pm.
Key responsibilities include:




Assist with the day-to-day operations of the depot
Manage undelivered freight and investigate delivery issues
Coordinate with drivers to ensure pickups and deliveries are completed efficiently
Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and counter enquiries
Handle freight tracking, problem freight, and customer escalations
Prepare manifests and operational paperwork
Support invoicing, timesheets, and general administrative duties
Assist with sales enquiries and customer account support
Maintain compliance with WHS and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
To be successful in this role:
Current Forklift (FL) Licence
Previous experience in logistics, transport, warehousing, operations, or a similar role
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced workplace
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Sound computer skills and confidence learning new systems
A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance requirements
