What does the job look like?
Linfox Intermodal is looking for a passionate and driven Transport Coordinator to join our team in Oberon, NSW.
This is an exciting prospect for a transport, planning or operations professional to expand their leadership capability, build end-to-end supply chain expertise and develop their career within one of Australia's leading logistics providers.
Working across transport operations, driver coordination, compliance and customer service, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and reliable outcomes for our customers.
We are considering both full time and part-time job share applicants for this position, working throughout the week days between 7am - 3pm.
Key areas:
Coordinate freight movements to meet customer requirements and operational efficiency targets
Deliver transport services in line with contractual obligations, safety expectations and cost objectives
Monitor compliance through regular audits, safety reporting and operational reporting
Support driver, subcontractor and carrier management to ensure effective service delivery
Develop solutions to operational challenges through stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement
Lead customer communication and maintain strong relationships to support service performance and growth
Are you the one?
You are an experienced transport, planning, allocating or logistics operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You enjoy balancing customer service, operational performance and compliance requirements while building strong relationships with drivers, contractors and key stakeholders.
Experience in transport operations within a complex logistics environment
Background in planning, load optimisation and shipment execution using TMS or ERP systems
Knowledge of truck and trailer configurations, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements
Ability to interpret operational data, investigate issues and implement effective solutions
Experience coordinating operational performance against KPIs and service requirements
Exposure to staff supervision, subcontractor management or operational team leadership
