Join Rocky Bay's Respite team in Noranda as a Lead Support Worker.
We're looking for a passionate and motivated individual who is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred support to people with disabilities.
Lead by example and provide guidance and support to Support Workers during shifts.
Assist with the implementation and monitoring of individual support plans.
Support customers with medication administration, complex care and daily living activities.
Ensure accurate documentation, shift handovers and customer records are maintained.
Promote customer choice, independence, dignity and community inclusion.
Foster a safe, inclusive and empowering environment for customers and team members.
Work collaboratively with Team Leaders and the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve positive customer outcomes.
About You
Passionate about supporting people with disability to achieve their goals.
Previous experience in disability support, with leadership or mentoring experience highly regarded.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
Confident supporting customers with complex care needs and behaviours of concern.
Organised, proactive and able to use initiative in a rapid-paced environment.
Committed to delivering person-centred, high-quality support.
Reliable, professional and a positive role model for your team.
